With a rough first year of highschool, I decided that my grade 10 year I would put the pads on and try football out. I would not know that this would be one of the best things for me, I was going to every practice, getting all the reps that I could get in. Finally one day in practice my coach (Coach Carlo Onorati) decided to put me on at defensive tackle, my first rep I ripped through the offensive line and got the sack, just this one decision led to me being named starting defensive tackle, this year was the first year my high school made it to our divisions championship, even though it didn’t end how we all intended, it gave me a thirst for more football.
